Renovation of a municipal facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 9,845-square-foot municipal facility.
The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, completing partial renovations to both the main and second floors of SaskEnergy Place in Regina, Saskatchewan. The renovation will include the installation of a new generator as part of the approximately 200m2 (2163sq.ft) construction that will be taking place on the main floor. In addition to the main floor, approximately 915m2 (9845sq.ft.) of the existing second space is being renovated as part of the work which includes a full demo and reconstruction of interior walls, new paint, ceiling, flooring, bathrooms, kitchen, mechanical ducting and electrical. This work also includes the installation of 5 new air handler units, a new server room, and specific security and data requirements. The building and work areas in the construction area will be occupied during the renovation, some evening and weekend work will be required and a high level of coordination with owners will be crucial. This project will be completed in stages. With the work spanning from June 2025 to April 2026. Estimated value: $5,500,000 to $6,500,000 TIMELINE: RFSQ from general contractors was cancelled by the owner. This project is not expected to proceed at this time.
