Reference Number 0000287671 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/05 03:00:00 PM CST For each voltage class (nominal 72 kV voltage and above), the switch shall have the capacity to operate within maximum limits and align with SaskPower's switch performance requirements including: Interrupting load current at maximum rated voltage Load current interrupting capability rating shall be greater than or equal to the maximum rating of the line Making load current at maximum rated voltage Load current making capability rating shall be greater than or equal to the maximum rating of the line Making parallel at maximum rated voltage Switch shall be rated for line paralleling current =1200A Breaking parallel at maximum rated voltage Switch shall be rated for line de-paralleling current =1200A Line dropping Switch line dropping capability shall be rated for line length =200km Line energization No-load line energization current rating shall be greater than the maximum rating of the line Switch shall be rated for short time symmetrical withstand current =38kA and duration =3s Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
