SCOPE OF WORK Overhead Paging (OHP) Head-End System Upgrade and Integration This project involves the decommissioning and removal of existing OHP Head-End equipment, installation of new digital and network-managed Head-End components, and integration with the existing CT-TSG Hosted Services VoIP phone system. The work includes testing and repurposing existing speaker infrastructure, installing new speaker trunk cabling, and ensuring seamless migration to the upgraded system. Equipment Requested: • ALGO Paging Adapter & Bell Scheduler - ALGO 8301 • LEA 4-Channel 70-volt Amplifier Tasks and Deliverables: 1. Decommission and Removal: • Remove all existing OHP Head-End components. • Ensure proper disposal or return of decommissioned equipment. 2. Installation of New Head-End Equipment: • Install new Head-End components in available rack space within the closest MDF or IDF closet. • Configure and secure equipment in compliance with best industry practices. 3. Speaker Cable Infrastructure: • Install a speaker cable splice cabinet in an optimal location for proper cable termination. • Run new speaker trunk cabling from the MDF or IDF closet to the newly installed splice cabinet. • Terminate existing speaker cabling in new combination blocks and dress professionally in the splice cabinet.
