Renovation of a mixed-use development in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,272-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
This project consists of electrical and mechanical upgrades to include air conditioning and ventilation to first and second floors including an electrical utility upgrade in coordination with Utilities Kingston. Ceilings are to be removed in corridors, modifications to surface mounted conduits, fire alarm modifications/verifications, new ducting to/from new roof top AHU's, with new ceiling installations. Sitewalkthrough Event: Failure to meet any of the above will result in automatic disqualification from the tender process. Respondents shall attend the site meeting at their own risk and hold the Board harmless for any issues or damages arising out of their attendance of the site meeting. The Board will not consider any claims for additional payments during the execution of the Work for extra work or difficulties encountered resulting from conditions which were either visible or could be reasonably inferred from an examination of the Place of the Work and the available project information prior to the submission of Proposals. The contractors should refer to the specifications, drawings, and photos for the other site details.
