Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eastampton Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The project Base Bid generally includes: Kensington Drive from Knightsbridge Road to Kensington Drive; milling 2.5" thick for 17,500 SY and overlaying 2.5" thick of 3,025 tons of HMA, HMA pavement repair (If & Where Directed), Mastic One crack repair (If & Where Directed), Crafco Road saver 201 (If & Where Directed), concrete sidewalk and curbing, ADA curb ramp construction, traffic sign replacement, and related appurtenances. For Alternate Bid #1 Wexford Court; milling 3" thick for 920 SY and overlaying 3" thick of 160 tons of HMA, HMA pavement repair (If & Where Directed), Mastic One crack repair (If & Where Directed), Crafco Road saver 201 (If & Where Directed), concrete curbing. For Alternate Bid #2 Strathmere Road; milling 2" thick for 1,660 SY and overlaying 2" thick of 220 tons of HMA, HMA pavement repair (If & Where Directed), Mastic One crack repair (If & Where Directed), Crafco Road saver 201 (If & Where Directed). For Alternate Bid #3 Newbury Lane; milling 2" thick for 1,260 SY and overlaying 2" thick of 170 tons of HMA HMA pavement repair (If & Where Directed), Mastic One crack repair (If & Where Directed), Crafco Road saver 201 (If & Where Directed), and cub piece. Checks should be made payable to Environmental Resolutions Inc. The payment for contract documents is non-refundable. If contract documents are to be mailed, there is an additional $15.00 fee for postage. Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal Form, in the manner designated therein and required by the Specification. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Township of Eastampton for ten percent (10%) of the Total Price Bid in the proposal; except that when the Total Price Bid is $200,000.00 or more, the amount of the proposal guarantee shall be $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent form from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance Bond upon award of contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the sum of the full amount of the contract. The Township of Eastampton assumes no responsibility for bids returned by mail or delivered after the deadline for submission of bids. Contractor shall be required to provide a copy of its business registration certificate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-23.2 upon award of contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, in whole or part, or to make awards to such bidder who, in the judgement of the Township of Eastampton, makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. The successful bidder shall supply all labor, materials and equipment required to complete the work as set forth in the general provisions of the contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Technical Specifications. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of the bids or any authorized postponement thereof. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
