The scope of services shall include regular maintenance and/or emergency repairs to Township-owned utilities, including but not limited to the Township's existing sanitary, storm sewer collection systems, road repairs and excavation upon issuance of a Work Order by the Township. The Work of the Contract may also include restoration of sinkholes which develop within the Township. The Contract will be for a minimum two-year period as described in the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in anamount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the Statewhere the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply tothis contract. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
