Site work for a civil project in Carbon Hill, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is shown on the attached Plan Sheets and includes a fixed film module to be installed in a pre-cast concrete tank, some fence re-alignment, necessary piping and valves, and such excavation and earthwork as necessary. Some scrub tree removal may be required. The Village's engineer will provide stake out for property corners and tank placement. The fixed film module has a potentially long lead-time (as much as six months), so the Village requires that the entire rest of the system be installed as soon as possible (and no later than May 30, 2025), then for all to be ready, so that when the module arrives, the Contractor can immediately install it and, with the Village's operator, start it up. Cut-in's to existing pipe can be scheduled with the Village's operator with time allowed for system pumping shut-down. Water is available from the Village at no cost, with any opening or closing of valves of hydrants to be performed in coordination with the Owner's operator. Project Contact Don W. Bixby, P.
