The Work consists of constructing approximately 932 feet of spray applied liner in a 48" x 36"stormsewer. The engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is $600,000.00. It is the responsibility of any person or organization interested in a hard copy of the Contract Documentsto pay all costs associated with printing. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including anyaddenda obtained from other sources. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope marked with "City of Zanesville, Drainage Structure and Conduit Rehabilitation and Repair Project - Phase 2", and the words "Sealed Bid". Bids will not be accepted by electronic methods. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in theInstructions to Bidders. Minimum prevailing wage rates shall be paid according to the Contract Documents, and Bidders must comply with all requirements of theInstructions to Bidders. The Contractor shall ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, age, color,religion, sex, national origin, or handicap status. No Bidder will be subjected to discrimination in consideration for this award. Pursuant to Ohio Revised CodeSection 9.24, it is now mandatory that prior to awarding of contracts for goods, services or construction for the City of Zanesville, a search must be made on the FINDING AND RECOVERY DATABASE of the Auditor of the State of Ohio to determine if a prospective successful bidder has a finding against it for non-payment of anobligation to the State or political subdivision thereof. All bidders shall pay particular attention to the rules and regulations of the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICY,and to the AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN, throughout the term of the project. The City of Zanesville reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and towaive all informalities. Bids may be held by the City of Zanesville for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days for the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding of the Contract.
