Renovation of a municipal facility in Hastings, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Purpose: Dakota County is seeking proposals for the renovation of the existing Law Enforcement Center lobby restrooms. This project will be known as the Law Enforcement Center Lobby Restroom Renovation Project. See Attachment H for a current floor plan of the public restrooms. The current restrooms are outdated, small, and infrequently used. The restroom area is just under 300 square feet and is surrounded by offices and exterior walls making the footprint impractical to expand. Because of the space constraint, this project will explore all options including the potential of a single one-user restroom if it is found that the current footprint does not lend to two ADA compliant restrooms.
