This projectseeksto replace the balance of original Law Enforcement Center(LEC) roof, except an area overthe administrative offices which was replaced in 2024 and the areas over the 2006 Intake Addition and the 2025 IHU Addition. The alternate within this bid would also add a section of roof replacement for 2026, where major mechanical equipment exists and is being replaced in late 2025 and early 2026. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening bids. The Dakota County Board of Commissioners preauthorized this bid award via Resolution No. 25-053 (January 21, 2025) so long as the low bid is under the estimated construction cost. Dakota county still reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
