Streets include: 4th S from Dakota Summit Dr to General Sieben Dr; 16th St to 23rd St from Pleasant Dr to Westview Dr; Featherstone Rd from west end to Pleasant Dr; High Point Ct from Northridge Ct through cul-de-sac; Northridge Ct from Northridge Dr through cul-de-sac. Bids are for furnishing all work and materials for milling (2") and overlaying 2.9 miles of residential and collector streets with spot concrete curb replacement, spot replacement of rings and castings on manholes and catch basins, providing truncated domes on sidewalk pedestrian ramps, sidewalk replacement and pavement striping. No bid will be considered unless filed ONLINE with the bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter in to a contract to perform said work. These bid bonds of the three lowest bidders will be retained until a contract has been awarded and signed by all concerned, but no longer than 60 day The bids for the work to be done shall be submitted upon the basis of cash payment for the work. No bidder may withdraw this bid for a period of 60 days after the date shown for opening thereof. The City of Hastings reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities therein. General The following Special Provisions may duplicate or modify other portions of the specifications. Where any article or clause is modified, or any paragraph or subparagraph is deleted by these Special Provisions, the unaltered provisions of that paragraph or subparagraph or clause shall remain in effect. These Special Provisions shall be considered as forming a part of the contract. It is pointed out that the requirements of the standard specifications pertain to all divisions of the work.
