Lump sum bids for Bid Release 01 will be received until the scheduled time, publicly opened and read aloud for the following Trade Packages: Trade Package 02A - Selective Demolition Trade Package 06A - General Trades Trade Package 09A - Flooring Trade Package 23A - HVAC Trade Package 22B - Plumbing Trade Package 26B - Electrical All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws, Substance Abuse Prevention, Drug Free Workplace and any applicable superseding ordinance or public law. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Roselle Park District. Successful bidders are required to provide a Performance and Payment (P&P) Bond for 100% of the awarded sum. Cost to furnish P&P bonds shall be included in base bid. Bonds will be made payable to IHC Construction Companies, LLC and include a Dual Obligee Rider adding Roselle Park District. The successful bidder will be required to furnish insurance equal to or greater than the specified amounts in the General Conditions. The cost of the insurance will be included in each bidder proposal.
