The Project is Expected to Commence on or After July 18, 2025; Be Substantially Complete by December 31, 2025. The Project Includes the Following Work: Remodel City Building to Plans and Design Specifications Including but Not Limited to: Replacing Existing Windows, Removing Exterior Stucco and Replacing With Siding, Leveling and Then Polishing Existing Concrete Floor, Refinishing Existing Interior Wood, Insulation and Drywall, Installing Electrical and Hvac, Carpet, Replumbing and Finishing Existing Single Bathroom Into Two New Bathrooms, Exterior and Interior Paint. The Project Start Date is Flexible, However if the Contractor Leaves the Site Unattended/unworked for More Than 5 Consecutive Workdays After Starting, Fines Will Be Imposed. Bidding Documents May Be Acquired at No Charge for the First Document From the Issuing Office City of Wendell City Hall During the Hours or 8:00am and 5:00pm. Instructions to Bidders for All Further Requirements Regarding Bid Submittal, Qualifications, Procedures, and Contract Award, Refer to the Instructions to Bidders That Are Included in the Bidding Documents. Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash in the Amount of 5% of the Amount of the Bid Proposal. Said Bid Security Shall Be Forfeited to the City of Wendell as Liquidated Damages Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into Contract in Accordance With Their Proposal as Specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Wendell Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals, Waive Any Nonmaterial Irregularities in the Bids Received, and to Accept the Proposal Deemed Most Advantageous to the Best Interest of the City of Wendell.
