Construction of: NEUTRA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MODERNIZATION, NEW MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING AND 8-CLASSROOM WING CENTRAL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT As of April 21, 2025, construction is anticipated to start July 2025 and complete September 2026. David A. Bush, Inc. the awarded construction manager, is seeking proposals from subcontractors for this project. Proposals from DVBE contractors are encouraged. The project site is located on the Naval Air Station in Lemoore (NASL). This is an active US naval installation. The NASL will not allow access inside the base for any individual without a current ID CARD/BASE ACCESS PASS. To acquire an ID CARD/BASE ACCESS PASS individuals must submit a DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY LOCAL POPULATION ID CARD/BASE ACCESS PASS REGISTRATION form which will be provided upon request to Tyler Thomas tthomas@bushconstruction.net Email the completed form in PDF format to the Central Union School District representative Traci Fullerton tfullerton@central.k12.ca.us The form review can take up to 3 weeks to complete. Individuals will be notified that they have been approved and may then visit the NASL Pass and ID office at the south base entry gate to pick up their physical ID CARD/BASE ACCESS PASS. All vehicles entering the base must show proof of current insurance and registration. Completion for this project shall be as established in the Owner's Notice to Proceed. All durations, activities and sequences for the subcontractors shall be performed as shown in the Construction Bid Schedule and Section 01 32 16 of the specification and as modified by a monthly schedule update, if any. All questions shall be directed to Tyler Thomas via e-mail only at tthomas@bushconstruction.net The bidder will be required to give satisfactory proof to the Owner of the maintenance of Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance in an amount with a combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. 100% Performance and Payment Bond may be required for those trades with contracts exceeding $100,000.00. Please provide a separate price for bond cost. If required, bond costs will be paid by David A. Bush, Inc. The Owner will not consider or accept any proposals from contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of contractors. In accordance with Section 3300 of said Code, the Contractor shall have the license classification as required by the State of California Contractor's License Board and shall maintain that license in good standing through project completion and all applicable warranty periods. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 45 days after date set for the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity and to reject any or all bids.
