The City of Houston ("City") General Services Department ("GSD"), on behalf of Houston Fire Department (HFD), are requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for the selection of Professional Architectural Services firms for the projects set out in Document 2. The City will award separate contracts for these projects. The City anticipates retaining professional architectural services to provide the Scope of Services outlined in Document 2 of this Request For Qualifications ("RFQ"). Architectural firms and team members with significant experience in planning, designing, and construction administration of projects with similar characteristics will be given prime consideration for this project. While all elements of the design process are expected to meet the highest standards of architectural and engineering practices, there will be added emphasis on MEP, structural, and building envelope development and design.
