Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pickerington, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a 25,000-square-foot, one-story above grade library; and for site work for a library.
As of December 4, 2025, a construction manager has been selected, and all trades have been let. The project is currently in pre-construction/negotiation. Funding is still pending, and construction is not expected to begin until 2027. The estimated duration is approximately 12–18 months. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Project may include multiple phases. The total budget is expected to be between $15-$25 million. The Library will determine in its sole discretion whether to authorize any and all Project phases. The Project phases are anticipated to include a new outdoor pavilion at the Main Library, construction of a new branch, Main Library expansion/renovation, and other facility improvements which may include HVAC replacement, flat roof/parking lot, solar arrays, LED light conversion.
