Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project includes Tenant Improvements to provide four new classrooms, two new ADA compliant restrooms and a utility room at Unit 301 and select minor improvement work at Unit 401 at the SOTA Ted Brown Building. Interior demolition work has been mainly completed, with only some minor demolition remaining needed as part of this new T.I project. The project also includes the addition of a new metal exterior gate system and select new flooring at the adjacent SOTA Ted Brown occupied Unit 302. Division 27 and Division 28 specification section work will be performed under a separate contract, with supplemental contractor coordination required as part of this project. A new fire alarm system and fire sprinkler modifications will also be performed under a separate contract, with supplemental contractor coordination required as part of this project.
