Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Briefly and without force and effect upon the Contract Documents, the Work of this Contract can be summarized as follows 1. Replacement of Roof Air Handling Unit (AHU). Replacement of Air Handling Units (AHU) inside the building. Install new HVAC VAVs throughout the building. Install completely New HVAC Controls at the Ted Brown Building located in Tacoma, Washington as shown on the Contract Drawings and Specifications, and include the following: a. Demolish existing air handling unit (AHU) on existing roof, existing VAVs, existing split systems units, as shown on plans including associated ceiling, walls, and necessary electrical demolition work associated with mechanical equipment replacement as shown on plans and referenced in project specifications. b. Roof repair may be required for the air handling unit (AHU) on the roof to also include curb installation and possible curb repair work, and waterproofing. Temporary fall protection systems, guardrails, and other temporary fall protection as needed to ensure a safe working environment for the work.
