Question Acceptance Deadline 03/18/2025 3:00 PM CT SCOPE OF WORK 5.1 The West Canal Blvd. Roadway Improvements Project is a part of the 2024 General Obligation Bond (G.O.B.) (Proposition No. 1). 5.2 The limits for this project are from Hollywood Avenue to Marquette Avenue. 5.3 The City and it’s G.O.B. Program Managing Consultants will negotiate and develop task orders for which services are to be rendered for this project. 5.4 The services expected to be included under this contract are those needed for complete project design and delivery services which may include but are not limited to: 5.4.1 Pre-Design 5.4.2 Condition Assessment 5.4.3 Topo & Boundary Survey 5.4.4 Utility Coordination 5.4.5 Geotechnical Evaluations 5.4.6 Permitting 5.4.7 Plat Preparation for Property Acquisition 5.4.8 Preliminary and Final Design 5.4.9 Bidding Phase Support Services 5.4.10 Construction Phase Services 5.4.11 RPR/Inspection services are not anticipated for City-funded projects but may be a requested service to be negotiated, if needed. 5.5 Typical roadway projects include but are not limited to the following types of improvements: 5.5.1 Roadway Alignment 5.5.2 Flexible Pavement 5.5.3 Rigid Pavement 5.5.4 ADA improvements and pedestrian facilities 5.5.5 Traffic Safety 5.5.6 Drainage 5.5.7 Street Lighting 5.6 The PEC shall use best practices and engineering judgement to develop the best approach and method for this project. 5.7 The City will provide available traffic data, archived record drawings, and any other pertinent documentation. 5.8 Total Design Budget: $500,000.00 6.0 REQUIRED PREREQUISITE EXPERIENCE 6.1 The PEC (Prime/subs) shall have significant and recent experience in providing the services laid out above. 6.2 New or innovative technologies that will make the project more efficient and cost effective will be considered.
