Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes the rehabilitation and expansionof the existing playground area. New playground equipment will be provided and installed, as well as a new retaining wall. In addition tothe playground upgrades, two new ADA parking stalls will be constructed, along with an ADA compliant walking path. A portion of the existing access drive will be regraded and reconstructed. Playground equipment installer must have at least five years' experience installing similar playground equipment. This project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,Commonwealth Financing Authority. Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing wage Act since the estimated construction costs of the project exceed $25,000 and because the project has received state grants that require the payment of PA prevailing wage and issuance of certified payrolls. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, waiving anydefects, errors, omissions,irregularities, or informalitiesin the bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best forthe Borough.
