Wyomissing 2025 Water Main Replacement This work will include the installation of 576 linear feet 6" ductile iron pipe on Oley Street between Park Road and Sixth Street. The existing water main will be abandoned in place. There are 18 existing water service laterals that must be connected to the new main. Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act since the estimated construction costs of the project exceed $25,000. Questions Due Date: Mar 31st 2025, 12:00 PM EDT All Requests for Information shall be submitted online Bids will be publicly awarded as early as May 13, 2025 at 7:00 pm (local time) at the Wyomissing Borough Hall, 22 Reading Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Depending on the value of the submitted bids, the award date is subject to change at this time. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Wyomissing Borough. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, waiving any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
