Installation of new water meter pits, removing goosenecks containing lead, replacing public galvanized service lines from water mainlines to the water meter pit and galvanized service lines from the water meter pit to residential and commercial premises whose owners consent for the work to be done. The work includes installing isolation valves at intersections and repairing and replacing disturbed asphalt, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and landscaping with the service line replacements and meter pit installations. This work is to be done within the Phase I boundaries shown on the plans. Labor Requirements: The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Applicable Federal and State Requirements Regarding Conditions of Employment to Be Observed. All Bidders Are Required to Comply With Executive Order No. 11246 Regarding Equal Employment Bid Bond: Each Proposal Must Be Submitted on the Prescribed Form and Accompanied by Bid Bond in the Form of a Certified Cashier's Check, or a Corporate Bid Bond Executed on the Prescribed Form, Payable to City of Shelley, Idaho in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Amount Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, Each in the Amount Not Less Than 100% of the Contract Price.
