Buyer Contact: Stephanie Duff sduff@furlowcharter.org 229-931-8667 Furlow Charter School is solicing proposals for the design, supply, and installaon of playground equipment that meets the needs of children in grades 3rd-5th (ages 8-11). Our goal is to fully replace exisng playground equipment with structures that promote physical acvity, social interacon, and developmental play for all children. SCOPE OF WORK The selected vendor will be responsible for: o Equipment Supply: Provide high-quality, durable playground equipment that is compliant with all safety standards; o Upper Elementary Playground o Play equipment should include roof/coverings for sun protecon o Play equipment should include at least two slides o Play equipment should include a climbing element o Play equipment should include STEM/STEAM acvies, such as musical instruments, and/or panels with science acvies o Play equipment should reflect school colors as the dominant color palee (see logo included on this document) o Play equipment should accommodate 20-40 students at a me o Replacement of equipment depicted in photo #2 and #3 below and including the swing sets o Installaon: Complete the installaon of the equipment, ensuring all safety regulaons and guidelines are followed. o This should include opons for ground cover mulch that is ADA compliant o Removal and disposal of the exisng playground structures that are in the locaon currently o Installaon of new playground equipment in the Upper Elementary Playgrounds o Installaon of playground area borders o Include securing any necessary permits for this project - Vendors stang perming and proper locaon of ulies not included, may be excluded from consideraon The total budget for this project is $50,000. In the event this project cannot be executed within the budget, Furlow Charter School reserves the right to accept parts of a quote, but not the enrety A site visit is required prior to proposal submission and must be arranged with Nicole Walker at nwalker@furlowcharter.org. The school is open every weekday from 8:00 am-3:30 pm for in-person visits. Quotes should include an installaon meline and product lead mes, as well as conngencies to address any installaon issues involving ground leveling or intermediate soluons in the case of unexpected delays. Quotes should include an itemized list of materials/products with specificaons and any warranes for the products and installaon.
