Stevens County Is Accepting Statements Of Qualifications (Soqs) From General Contractor/construction Managers (Gc/cm) For Their New County Justice Center Project Using The Procedure Permitted Under Chapter 39.10 Of The Rcw, As Amended, For Public Works Contracting In Lieu Of Sealed Bids. The Project Consists Of Demolition Of Existing Commissioners' Office Building, Necessary Site Preparations And Construction Of A New Approximately 95,000 Sf Justice Center Which Will House Approximately160 Bed, Staff Offices, Sallyport, Kitchen, And Other Support Spaces Along With Courts, Holding Rooms, Judges, Attorney, And Clerk Offices. The Estimated Guaranteed Maximum Price Is Approximately $76.8m. For Further Information, Follow Instructions Within The Rfq. Stevens County Reserves The Right To Reject Any And All Soqs, To Waive Any Irregularities In The Soqs Received, And To Accept The Soq Deemed Most Advantageous To Stevens County. All Soqs Become Property Of Stevens County. Stevens County Encourages The Participation Of Minority Owned And Women Owned Business Enterprises In This Request For Qualifications. Stevens County Greg Young, Chairman. Preconstruction Is Expected To Start In Mid-april, 2025. Early Site Work Is Expected To Begin In December 2025, With Construction Complete In February 2028.
