The City of Colville is hereby soliciting RFP's (Request for Proposal) for janitorial services for most of its city buildings/departments. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining City buildings including City Hall, Police Department, Park & Recreation offices, Wastewater Treatment Facility, and Public Works. Vendors are also encouraged to propose alternative janitorial solutions, preferably at a reduced cost. Vendors are asked to submit their proposals for each location separately listing the different options available to that location. Proposals will be accepted for consideration of services that are equal or superior to the stated specifications. Decisions of equivalency will be at the sole interpretation of the City. Award will be based on the price, as well as ability to meet minimum specifications. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible vendor who offers the best value to the City. The City of Colville City Council Reserves the Right to Waive Minor Irregularities in the Proposals and/or the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals. The City plans to enter into an agreement for one year with the option to renew for four (4) subsequent years if advantageous to the City.
