Renovation of a municipal facility in Jackson, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 35,000-square-foot municipal facility.
No bid bond is required. No plans for this project are available for this project at this time. SCOPE OF WORK 1) Vendor will coordinate with the owner's office personnel to minimize disruption of normal business operations. 2) The vendor will protect the owner's grounds and surrounding area from damage during roof work. 3) The vendor will remove the existing roof at the upper main roof and haul off all debris and dispose of all debris created in an approved landfill. 4) The vendor will protect the exposed roof from leaks during the project. 5) The vendor will replace any damaged roof decking with like or approved by the owner materials as needed. 6) The vendor will install tapered roof insulation sections and/or structural wood crickets to create positive drainage. 7) The vendor will ensure all roof drains are conventional type roof drains and are properly flowing. 8) The vendor will install new roof drain inserts where applicable. 9) The vendor re-open scupper drains areas (4) and install new thru-wall scuppers (24 gauge) and line/coat with TPO. 10) The vendor will provide and install, catch basins, downspouts (4" round), at the re-opened scupper locations. 11) Catch basins and downspouts color and gauge to match existing, or a color or gauge approved by the owner. 12) The vendor will install new curbing for HVAC units as needed to provide a watertight seal. 13) The vendor will install 2.2" polyisocyanurate roof deck insulation, mechanically attached, to create a minimum of R-25 over the entire roof surface. 14) The vendor will install the new 60mil TPO roof membrane, mechanically attached, to the entire upper main roof area. 15) The vendor will adhere the new 60mil TPO to all parapet wall areas and wrap the top of all parapet walls. 16) The vendor will reuse existing coping on all parapet walls if possible. If this is not possible, the vendor will replace the coping on all parapet walls with like materials. 17) The vendor will install new roof jacks for pipe penetrations for upper main roof. 18) The vendor will seal all exposed penetrations for roof top equipment. HVAC line sets, power for HVAC units, etc... 19) The vendor will install new drip edge at parapet walls. 20) The vendor will install all materials to manufacture's installation instructions. 21) The vendor will remove all debris created by the project and leave the grounds and surrounding area as found before the project started. 22) The vendor will provide the manufacture's 20-year warranty. 23) The vendor will provide a 3-year workmanship warranty against roof leaks. 24) Not to cover damage caused by hazardous weather conditions or damage caused by nonvendor personnel. Butts County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitively sealed bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of an approximately 35,000 sq. ft. roof on the Judicial Center Complex. The location where the work will be performed is located at the Butts County Judicial Building at 625 West 3rd Street, Jackson, GA 30233. Butts County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety. Butts County reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at its discretion.
