The intent of these specifications is to obtain generator maintenance and service for the equipment outlined in this document. The Contract resulting from these specifications shall cover the period from the date of award through March 31, 2027. The contract may be extended on a year-to-year basis upon the agreement of both parties. The work to be performed by the Contractor consists of furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide maintenance services. Including all inspections, adjustments, tests, part replacements, and repairs to keep generators covered under this contract available when needed, at their established capacities and efficiencies. Upgrading of equipment is not within the scope of this specification. Any changes or alterations will require authorization from the City of Bristol. It is assumed that annual inspection and maintenance visits per unit shall include any parts, filters, belts, fluids monitoring, coolant replenishment/ replacement, and oil changes required to ensure normal operation. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in any submission, to reject any and/or all submissions, and to accept the proposal(s) that in its judgment is in its best interest.
