The annual dust reduction program for the County generally consists of residential requests throughout the County with +/- 200m of road treated per location and various County selected road projects. For reference purposes only, the approximate following quantity of MC-250 dust suppressant was purchased by the County last year: 2023 - 22,080.00 litres Please note the disclosure of quantities does not hold the County responsible for any minimum or maximum amount in 2025, but is for reference purposes only. Actual program quantities for 2025 will vary depending on ratepayer participation and product cost. Supplier to state any conditions regarding minimum order or price variations based on overall quantity in quotation. The Contractor shall supply a self-powered pressure distributor capable of delivering a controlled and uniform application of emulsion. Distributors shall be equipped with computerized controls or flow meters in metric easily identifying the desired application rate. Checks will be performed on site through tank-mounted volume indicators or dipstick to ensure material delivery rates as specified. The Contractor must be able to provide the quantities applied to each application/site at the end of day. The County will provide traffic control as required, supervision staff and 3 to 4 graders for mixing and spreading.New applications are generally treated at +/- 5 l/m2. Contractor to provide a distributor truck capable to meter quantity control for application.The County can complete +/- 3 sites per day on average (weather permitting). Daily supply required avg. +/- 25,000 litres.
