Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in West Sacramento, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The project, located at the City of West Sacramento Community Center, consists of HVAC Controls integration of some components to existing Daikin iTouch Manager system. The current HVAC system that provides comfort and safe air to the occupants of City Hall has met its end of life. This project is planned to engineer and schedule the replacement of some of the existing equipment (excluding ducting) to regain normal HVAC operations. It will need minor controls expansion work to make the exhaust fans function. The new air handler will have BMS controls work but that would be included in the scope of that piece of equipment. This scope covers a general overview of design. This project may adjust "as needed" to accommodate appropriate design buildout. With the many advances in HVAC technology, an engineering assessment is needed and will provide the City with a solution that includes modern greener technology, reduce energy use, operational and maintenance cost, increased air quality, and improved occupant comfort. This project will also take into consideration the requirements for indoor air quality in regards to airborne contaminants, unwanted odors, and the reduction of the transmission of infectious diseases.
