The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals ("Proposer") to provide cleaning and maintenance services for the bus shelters throughout the City. More details on the City's needs for this work are provided in the Scope of Work. Each qualified Proposer is to submit a proposal in conformity with the terms of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") by the deadline below ("Proposal"). The Proposer selected by the City pursuant to the terms of this RFP and the City's contracting procedures, if any is selected, is referred to herein as "Contractor." Question Submission Deadline:March 14, 2025, 5:00pm A Proposer may submit Questions related to this RFP to the City through the City's e-Procurement Portal The following is a list of tasks that are intended to be the responsibility of the Contractor pursuant to this Request for Proposals ("Scope of Work "). Bus Shelters: Each bus shelter shall be cleaned three times per week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In the event the cleaning schedule falls on a holiday, the contractor shall perform the work the following business day. Tasks shall include: Refuse removal, including removing garbage from in/around the shelter as well as the refuse cans, and replacing can liners Surface cleaning: clean walls, windows, benches, rest areas, floors, and other surfaces to ensure sanitary conditions Power wash shelter flooring Graffiti removal, which shall be performed within 24 hours of notice or at the next scheduled cleaning, whichever is soonest Potential Other City Locations (on an as-needed basis) The City hosts outdoor events throughout the year as well as scheduled baseball games at Sutter Health Park. On an as-needed basis, the following services may be requested: Refuse removal from City parking lots, designated street parking areas, or other City-owned property Surface cleaning of parking meters or other installed City owned equipment Graffiti removal, which shall be performed within 48 hours of notice on the next business day Power washing and other cleaning services as available The initial term of the Contract is at the City's discretion and may be up to 3 years.
