The Port of Everett is seeking bids for an abatement and demolition project located at 404 14th Street, Everett, WA 98201. Estimated Cost: $800,000 - $1,100,000 (Incl. Wsst ). Work on this project includes temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC), hazardous building material abatement, partial demolition, utility work, earthwork, irrigation system work, and site restoration of the existing approximately 20,500 square foot (SF) building on parcel C2 of Waterfront Place Central. The existing building is built partially overwater and partially on land. The overwater sub-structure is to remain and shall be protected during the Work. Abatement for this building includes abatement for existing hazardous building materials and recent mold growth. The overwater work will also include new weatherproof decking, guardrails, and existing decking repairs. Overwater work is expected to be completed from the uplands with appropriate overwater work BMPs. The upland foundation is to be removed, and its piling cut off below ground surface. Reconnection of the existing overwater fire suppression and water utilities is also included in this Work. The Site shall be graded with onsite fill, topsoil placed, and hydroseeded in its final condition. This project is a part of the Waterfront Place Central Development. Bidders are notified that the project site is located adjacent to and within one Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) site and one Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) site (i.e., West End and Phase I VCP sites) as established by the Washington State Department of Ecology Toxics Group. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
