The engineers estimate for this Project is $3,500,000. Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to develop the waterside portion of the future Eclipse Mill Park. Work includes laying back the riverbank, stone column ground improvements, and installing an overlook pier with a gangway and float for small watercraft on the Snohomish River. A debris barrier will be installed upstream of the float and pier. Work also includes removal of relic timber piles and other associated timber and concrete along the riverbank, restoration of the shoreline, and performing all Work as required by the Contract Documents. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds will be required of the successful Bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in the Contract Documents. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of forty-five (45) days after bid opening.
