Site work for a road / highway in Palmdale, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The purpose of this project is to: #1. Remove existing chain link fence, leave vertical posts and footers in place. Total footage approximately 465'. #2. Remove existing barbed wire and barb wire racks from fence tops. #3. Repaint all vertical posts with cold-galv paint of similar. #4. Install new chain link, 2", 9 gauge core, galvanized. Total linear footage is approximately 465', fence height 8'. New tension wire to be installed at bottom of chain link on entire fence-line. #5. Add Barbed wire racks and barbed wire in the same style as existing. Barbed wire does not need to be colored - galvanized or dull weatherproof coat is acceptable. #7. Assume the gate is already grounded by a 3rd party - no additional grounds required. #8 Assume that entry gate is to be refinished in a similar manner to the rest of the fence. New chain-link added to existing frame, posts to be coated with paint. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining a permit with LA County DPW Building & Safety, if required. Pre work shall include but not limited to hauling dirt from post holes, removal of any plants, trees, and brushes if necessary for the prep work Work shall be done with prevailing wages
