The City of Palmdale is seeking bids from qualified & experienced Contractors to remove existing turf at Marie Kerr Park softball field 1 & Desert Sands Park soccer field, laser level soil profile, and install big roll sod. The target start date is April 2025 upon approval by City Council, with the sod establishment period starting no later than 3 weeks after the project start date. This project will remove existing turf in both fields within specified boundaries, utilizing a KORO Field Top Maker FTM 2000 or equivalent, set to a depth of 1", laser level fields, and install approximately 189,000 square feet of big roll sod.
