Site work for a civil project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The proposed project officially known as Wilhelm Road Bridge – Channel Stabilization consists of the regrading and stabilization of the existing Stone Creek Channel that conveys stormwater under the Wilhelm Road Bridge. The project includes re-grading the channel and banks, installation of channel drop structures, and stabilization measures such as riprap and precast block revetment mat. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. Prime Contractors have an obligation to make a good faith effort to advance the City's commitment to increase diversity among the firms working on City construction projects
