The Clare Public School District is accepting proposals to add interactive flat panel displays to twenty nine (29) classrooms at their Clare Primary School location only. System Requirements - Interactive Flat Panel 1. Preferred Hardware to be used: a. 75" Viewsonic Interactive Flat Panel. 2. To be installed in the following building: Clare Primary School 205 East Wheaton Clare, MI 48617 Installation 1. Work must be completed by the project due date, unless otherwise approved in writing by the District. a. The awarded vendor will schedule work through the district Technology Coordinator or designated contact. 2. Awarded vendor will walk through the building prior to installation for a complete analysis of the project with appropriate stakeholders. 3. The vendor will be responsible for running any low voltage cabling, including but not limited to CAT6, HDMI, and USB cables. a. Cabling should be in J-Hooks or otherwise tied up so that it is not laying on any ceiling grid. b. The vendor will be responsible for any wall penetrations and sleeves. Fire stop must be used for all penetrations. c. HDMI over CAT6 and USB over CAT6 shall be run for each Interactive Flat Panel using existing pathways where possible. d. Vendor is responsible for for any and all adaptors or modules required for conversion of USB and Video signal to and from Cat6 4. Vendor is responsible for mounting/installing the Interactive Flat Panels: a. All necessary mounting hardware and materials should be included in installation cost. b. Model and/or type of mount to be used during installation: Large Fusion(R) Dynamic Height Adjustable Wall Mounts (Chief LSD1U) or a similar toolless, vertically user adjustable c. Any ballasts required for the mount need to be included at time of installation. 5. Vendor is responsible for disconnecting and removing projectors from each classroom. Projectors shall be returned to an agreed upon location in coordination with the Technology Coordinator or other designee. 6. Vendor is responsible for testing all functions of the installed hardware to ensure they are working properly prior to completion. 7. Installation will occur during the spring/early summer. Work can be done during the normal work hours on non-school weekdays, but second shift and weekend work may be allowed if it is necessary to to complete the work done by the deadline.
