Bedford Street Improvement Project on behalf of the City of Fall River, under the direction of the Engineering Department in accordance with the listed specifications Bids are subject to M.G.L. This project has a 5% goal and applicable compliance forms must be submitted with each bid .Each bid must include a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid considering all alternates. The bid deposit may be in the form of cash, certified check, bank treasurers of cashier's check, or a bid bond from a responsible surety company licensed to do business in the state of Massachusetts. for the project with an estimated value of $1,769,290. is required. Each prospective bidder must have experience during the past five years in the successful and satisfactory construction of at least three similar construction projects, the magnitude of which shall be not less than one-half the work herein specified. The successful bidder will also be required to comply with the provisions of Chapter 306 of the Acts of 2004 regarding required OSHA approved safety & health training. The City of Fall River reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the submission received. The City of Fall River reserves the right to reject any/all proposals when deemed in the best interest of the City of Fall River. The City of Fall River shall be the sole judge of equivalency and acceptability. The City Engineer intends to award a contract on behalf of the City of Fall River within thirty(30) days after the bid opening.
