Russellville Housing Authority is seeking Request for Proposals for Removal of tank style gas hot water heaters and the installation of tankless gas hot water heaters. Bids must be per unit price with the intent of up to 25 units. The RHA reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any orall proposals, if it be in the public interest to do so. The RHA is an Equal Opportunity Agency A. Work under this contract shall comply with industry standards and codes. B. It is the contractor's responsibility to provide materials and workmanship which meet or exceed the applicable codes or standards. All materials will be approved by the PHA before they are installed. C. In procuring all items used in the work, it is the contractor's responsibility to verify that the items procured for use in this work meet or exceed the specified requirements. D. The PHA reserves the right to reject items incorporated into the work which fail to meet the minimum requirements. The PHA further reserves the right, and without prejudice to other recourse the PHA may take, to accept non-complying items subject to an adjustment in the Contract Amount as approved by the PHA. E. The Contractor must keep the jobsite clean and safe at all times. F. In product handling, use all means necessary to maintain temporary facilities and controls in proper and safe condition throughout progress of the work. G. All temporary facilities shall be subject to the PHA's approval. H. The contractor may use the interior of any empty unit for office or storage during construction.
