The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver, and stockpile various types of aggregate on an as-needed basis at all of the Area Headquarters within the Northern Neck Residency of VDOT's Fredericksburg District. Brookvale Area Headquarters 10418 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, VA 22503 Hague Area Headquarters 6239 Cople Highway, VA 22469 Edge Hill Area Headquarters 12379 State Street, King George, VA 22485 Potomac Mills Area Headquarters 15 Winter Harbor Road, Colonial Beach, VA 22443 Warsaw Area Headquarters 523 Main Street, Warsaw, VA 22572 Lottsburg Area Headquarters 2258 Northumberland Highway, Lottsburg, VA 22511 The bid opening will begin promptly at the time indicated. At the start of the conference the VDOT Representative will conduct a roll call to identify the individuals participating on the call. Participants will be requested to provide their individual name, company name and contact information during the roll call. If you are unable to access the teleconference at the scheduled time please contact the Contract Officer via email and a bid reading will be provided. The provisions of 2.2-4342 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, shall be applicable to the inspection of bids received. A pre-bid teleconference will not be held for this solicitation; however, potential bidders are encouraged to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Kristy Jeter at Kristy.Jeter@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on March 6, 2025. The contract will be for a period of one (1) year, with the start date determined at time of award nonrenewable).
