Site work and renovation of a civil project in Capon Bridge, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work for this project will include the rehabilitation of approximately eighty (80) manholes, lining of approximately 680 LF of existing sewer lines, removal and replacement of approximately 400 LF of existing sewer lines, installation of two (2) elevated emergency generators, the replacement of pumps at the three (3) grinder stations, and other miscellaneous improvements to the collection system. Manhole rehabilitations will include replacing existing frames and covers with watertight models and sealing the manholes with an application of spray on epoxy lining. The Work will be substantially completed within 540 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 570 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000.00 per day. Parts of the Work must be substantially completed on or before the following Milestone(s): Milestone 1: All work associated with manhole rehabilitations, sewer line removal and replacements, sewer linings, and other associated collection system improvements shall be completed within 270 days. Milestone 2: Emergency generator supply and/or installation and startup shall be completed within 540 days. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Town of Capon Bridge in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid.
