For the removal and replacement of the HVAC system at Lakeside Pavilion. Services will include removing old components and replacing with new HVAC equipment, controls, components and any electrical branch circuit wiring modifications that may be needed for the system to function appropriately. The deadline to ask questions is 3/19/2025 5:00 PM CST Every request for such interpretation shall be submitted in writing, addressed to the Parks Superintendent Scope of Work 1.) Thorough inspect the existing conditions at the site prior submitting proposals. Failure to recognize existing conditions which are not hidden shall not be considered when evaluating change orders. 2.) Provide a demolition plan for the removal of any necessary components that need replaced. All material not to be reused shall be promptly and carefully removed from the site and shall become the property of the contractor. Lay down floor protection in all areas of egress. 3.) Reconstruct the mechanical platform above the restroom ceiling as needed after removal of existing equipment. 4.) Coordinate with the owner for remote control of the new HVAC units in strict accordance with the existing control system. Install new smart thermostats that can be controlled remotely. 5.) Provide new electrical distribution equipment and wire as needed and as required to meet the 2014 NEC. 6.) Replace the existing lay-in ceiling, lights, diffusers, etc. that are to be removed in the restrooms. Ceiling tiles should be 2 ft x 2ft. Lights should be LED and should provide the appropriate lumens for the restroom space. 7.) If needed relocate existing electrical devices, conduit and wire, sprinkler piping, plumbing piping and other existing elements which conflict with the proposed construction. 8.) Insulation on top of the lay-in ceilings shall be removed if necessary. New insulation shall be installed on the bottom of the mechanical platform. 9.) Repair any and all over-cut, damaged or missing items which resulted from this construction. 10.) 10.) Provide closeout documents, air balancing reports and equipment operation documents to owner upon completion. Upon award of contract all prices shall be firm and valid for the duration of the contract. The City of Marble Falls is exempt from payment of Texas Sales
