There will be NO pre-bid conference. Scope:- The project includes the installation of a new open line shaft vertical turbine well pump and all required appurtenances not fully listed. It will also include installing a new column and discharge head, connecting the new pump to the existing piping, installing new expansion joint, installing new sample port on existing piping, and connecting the new pump motor to the existing electrical system. The work will also include disinfection and testing of the well before startup. Bids are requested for the following Contract: EJCDC(R) C-520, Agreement between Owner and Contractor for Construction Contract (Stipulated Price). Work consists of the following activities: 1. Removal and storage of existing well pump, motor, and appurtenances. 2. Installation of new open line shaft vertical turbine well pump and all required appurtenances. 3. Installation of existing materials, including column and discharge head, if suitable for reuse. 4. Installation of new rubber expansion joint. 5. Installation of new sample port and tap. 6. Connection of new pump to existing piping. 7. Connection of new pump motor to existing electrical system. 8. Disinfection and testing per Section 02677. 9. Pump start-up and testing. The Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $190,000. The Project has an expected duration of 90 days.
