Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Forsyth, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: The construction of the Forsyth Kynette Park including +/- 1,840 SY of 8 inch Graded Aggregate Base, Roadway grading, +/- 1,953 LF of 4" TH 3,000 PSI concrete for walking trail, +/- 660 TNS of 9.5mm Superpave asphalt, basketball court, playground, splash pad, +/- 492 LF of 18" RCP storm drain piping, striping, grassing and other erosion control measures as shown on the plans as all necessary items to properly construct the park. All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Forsyth prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Forsyth, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. The City of Forsyth reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
