Renovation of a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work described herein includes competent supervision and the supply of all labour, materials, supplies, products, tools, machinery, equipment, consumables, protective equipment, and all other services and items necessary to carry out and conduct the work and ensure that it is fit for the purpose for which it is intended. Complete the scope of work for the following sections of Work inclusive of any requirement or scope indicated on drawings, specifications, or other documents included or referenced here within. General Scope of Work This Subcontractor will provide all labour, material, equipment, and supervision required to complete Precision Coring in the Peace Tower, as per the following but is not limited to: 3.1. Complete precision coring a diameter of 75-110mm accurate to +/- 25mm over a vertical distance of approximately 15m & 60m. Subcontractor to confirm distance according to drawings provided. 3.2. Complete precision coring with a diameter of 75mm, accurate to +/- 25mm over a horizontal distance of approximately 12m. Subcontractor to confirm distance according to drawings provided. 3.3. Drill vent holes as required to allow for coring. Masonry removals to be completed by others. 3.4. Coring will be completed from a temporary Peace Tower structural steel and scaffold platform, by others. Subcontractor to review structural steel bays loading capacities prior to work starting. Trade coordination will be required to ensure structural steel bays are not overloaded. Preliminary structural steel design has been provided in Part C-Tender Package Documents. 3.5. Ability to drill in multiple (4) pinnacle locations concurrently in accordance with Part E-Preliminary Schedule. 3.6. Provide task specific means and methods to allow for coring of all vertical cores in one pinnacle location with one initial setup. 3.7. Subcontractor to provide onsite facilities for onsite repairs and fabrication as required. 3.8. Coring equipment to be able to broken down to fit inside a standard personnel/material hoist. Material hoist load capacity and interior car dimensions are provided in Part C -Tender Package Documents Material Hoist Specifications. 3.9. Subcontractor to provide slurry recycling system to allow for reusing of water.
