Offerors must provide qualified staff, including related tools, equipment, and materials upon a request from the City, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this Request for Standing Offer. Services under the Standing Offer may be required within any City of Ottawa location located within the geographical boundaries of the City of Ottawa. Company Experience: Offerors must have a minimum of five years experience providing Voice and Data Cabling Services. Certifications: Offerors must be either be BELDEN or PANDUIT certified (or both). These certifications must be valid and in effect as of the date of the Request for Standing Offer Closing date and time. For an Offeror to remain eligible to perform call-up contracts under the Standing Offer, all pertinent certifications in effect at the outset of the Standing Offer must remain in effect for the entire period that the standing offer is authorized. Technical Requirements: The following Technical Requirements will be used for all City of Ottawa, Ottawa Public Library or Ottawa Police Service facilities requiring new Voice and Data Cabling Services, repair services and any additional work that may be required under this standing offer: There are two standards primarily in place at the City, BELDEN and PANDUIT. The Voice and Data Cabling Services required under this Request for Standing Offer include but are not limited to the following: Potentially wiring under carpet, including termination, testing, labeling. Insurance Without restricting the generality of the Indemnification provisions, and in addition to the insurance requirements set out in the City's General Terms and Conditions, the Contractor shall, during the term of the contract, provide, maintain and pay for: i. Automobile Liability Insurance with respect to licensed vehicles owned or leased by the Contractor, and used directly or indirectly in connection with the Services contemplated in the Agreement. Such coverage shall have an inclusive limit of not less than five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) per occurrence for bodily injury; death; and property damage including loss of use thereof; and ii. Technology Professional Liability insurance for financial loss arising out of an error, omission or negligent act in the rendering of services in an amount not less than five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) per claim and five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) aggregate. Such policy shall be on a claims made basis and shall provide coverage for damages and defence costs. The Technology Professional Liability Policy will also include an insuring agreement for cyber or network security and privacy liability insurance, covering financial loss arising out of actual or potential unauthorized access, unauthorized use, and a failure to protect confidential information which results in loss or misappropriation of such information in both electronic and non-electronic format. Such insurance shall have a limit of five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) million per claim. iii. The Contractor shall provide and maintain, at its sole expense, during the term of the Contract, Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor. Such insurance shall include, but is not limited to, bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use; premises, property and operations liability; products and broad form completed operations liability; blanket contractual liability; cross liability; severability of interest clause; contingent employers liability; personal injury liability; owner's and Contractor's protective coverage: non-owned automobile liability; broad form property damage; employees as additional insured and occurrence property damage. The Commercial General Liability insurance policies shall be in the name of the Contractor and shall name the City of Ottawa as an Additional Insured. Such insurance shall contain an endorsement to provide the City of Ottawa with 30 days prior written Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
