**As of May 14, 2025, this project has been awarded to Bainbridge Construction with the bid amount of $478,573.55.** Said improvements shall include removals, subgrade preparation, PCC paving, sidewalks, storm sewer work, at Ring Road, and surrounding area. Each bid must be accompanied in a separate envelope by one of the following: a deposit of money, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Credit Union Certified Share Draft, or a Bid Bond to be executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in the state of Iowa, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid, made payable to Western Iowa Tech Community College, Sioux City, Iowa, and may be cashed by the Board as liquidated damages in the event the successful Bidder fails to enter into a Contract and file a 100% performance and payment bond satisfactory to the Board assuring the faithful ful fillment of the Contract and maintenance of said improvements as required by law, the provisions of this notice and the Contract Documents within ten (10) days after acceptance of his Bid. The WITCC Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise for all bids and to waive any or all formalities that may be in the best interest of Western Iowa Tech Community College.
