Scope of Work: The district is looking to add small and large message boards to Priest River Elementary School. The vendor will supply small message boards to 30 locations that already have IP speakers. We will also install four large message boards in the middle of the hallway/building so anyone walking down the main hallway can see messages being displayed. WBCSD is seeking a compatible system with the current system that is installed. This project is viewed as a completion project to the first phase of installation and implementation that has occurred in the building. Currently the school has a Rauland IP intercom system located in this school. The purpose of this project is to complete the work that has been done for the buildings emergency notification and intercom system and to ensure that all areas of the building and classrooms in the building are able to hear audible notifications on the intercom system, as well as installation of message boards to provide visually displayed messages for anyone not able to hear audible messages. The project must ensure that all areas of the building are covered by the emergency notification intercom system Including: Plenum rated wiring Specialty Backboxes Wire Pull Network Drops Device Trim Furnish and install raceway, standard electrical boxes, fittings, etc... Programming and Testing Electrical Permits Training provided for designated WBCSD personnel Proposal Exclusions Switches or Data related equipment Install of all backboxes for speakers (TENTATIVE) Provide 120vac power to all equipment as required Warranty Requirements: WBCSD is seeking maximum available warranty for all equipment installed. The date of the beginning of the warranty should be the date of installation, not the date of purchase by the selected contractor. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposalsand to waive any irregularities, and to be the sole judge of the suitability of the interests of the school district.
