Reference Number 0000377699 Fremont Older House Re-Roofing and Exterior Repair Project The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (District) is pleased to release this Request For Proposals and Qualifications for the Fremont Older House Assessment and Exterior Repairs Project (Project). The District is seeking to retain an architect or structural engineer led team to provide professional design services for the repairs to the weather envelope of the Historic Fremont Older House located within the Fremont Older Open Space Preserve. The ideal Historical Architect or Structural Engineering lead team shall have technical expertise in the assessment and repairs of historic structures and demonstrate successful completion of similar projects in the past five years. Consultants must have relevant experience and availability of resources for structural assessments. The project is anticipated to include re-roofing, roof drainageimprovements, installing parapet flashing, and addressing water intrusion at the foundation. The Project site is located along a publicly accessible trail approximately 1/2 mile from the Fremont Older Prospect Road parking area. Refer to the RFPQ attachment for project obectives and scope of work. The following is a tentative schedule that is subject to change.
