ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: Between $100,001 to $500,000 Description: The Work included under this Contract consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of asphalt speed cushions at the following locations: San Roberto Avenue, between Klevin Street and Pine Street San Ernesto Avenue, between San Fernando Street and Hoyt Street San Antonio Street, between Camila Court and San Roberto Avenue The Municipality of Anchorage reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening of bids or before the award of contract unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days from the time of the opening. The Municipality shall not be responsible for bid preparation costs, nor for costs, including attorney fees, associated with any (administrative, judicial or otherwise) challenge to the determination of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and/or award of contract, and/or rejection of bids. By submitting a bid, each bidder agrees to be bound in this respect and waives all claims to such costs and fees. Contracts shall be awarded by written notice issued by the Purchasing Officer to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; however, preference will be given to local bidders in compliance with Anchorage Municipal Code Section 7.20.040.
