2024 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation The City of Morrison will be utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Infrastructure grant funds to construct 11,766 lineal feet of sewer re-lining, and spot replacements, along with the following segments within the western portion of its corporate limits in Whiteside County: South Street, from south Hall Street to Portland Avenue; South Cherry Street, from Union Pacific Railroad to East Park Street, and from East South Street a half block south; Wall and Park Streets, from South Hall to South Cherry Streets; and West Winfield Street, from Hall Street to Genesee Street. Asan Alternate, the City will be bidding the segment of South Clinton Street from Wall Street to Park Street and Portland Avenue South from Park Street through to Crosby Road as well. The Project consists of approximately 150LF of 4-inch, 1,500 LF of 6-inch, 6,000 LF of 8-inch, 4,000 LF of 10-inch, 4,000 LF of 12-inch, 2,000 LF of 15-inch,500 LF of 18-inch, 1,200 LF of 21-inch, and 750 LF of 24-inch CIPP sanitary sewer lining at various locations in the City of Morrison. There are also several sanitary manholes that will have a manhole infiltration lining system appliedto interior walls. All bids must be accompanied by a bank check, cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid.
